My Trusted Wills and Estate Planning services cover everything you need to get your affairs in order. We are driven by our own standards and business ethics, and it is always our intention to place the interests of the client before any other, even if by so doing we sacrifice sales income we could otherwise expect.

Currently, the Will writing industry is not regulated by any independent body, and it was for this reason that we decided to become a member of The Society of Will Writers as they promote a code of conduct for the industry. A code that sets us apart from many other Will writers and solicitor’s.

Being members of the Society also means that in a particularly complex case, we have access to experts in each of the different fields of activity that we are engaged in, which in addition to writing Wills, includes Probate and Estate Administration, Trusts and Trust Administration, Inheritance Tax Planning, effective planning for Care Home Charges, Funeral Plan Arrangements and preparing and submitting Lasting Power of Attorney documents to the Office of the Public Guardian.

My Trusted Wills - Services we offer

What is the Process?

1

Cup of Tea!

Stage 1 of our full Estate Planning Service is to meet your consultant – in the comfort of your own home – so we can understand you and your situation. This is a confidential and informal discussion about your family, your assets and, perhaps most importantly, the goals that you have for your assets. Plus, our consultants do appreciate a nice cup of tea!

2

Instructions

Once we understand your situation, we can advise what solutions will best achieve your goals. If you are happy with our advice, then we can take instructions for your Will and any other services that will help you.

3

First Drafts

Your instructions will be submitted for drafting, and the first draft of your will and any other services will be sent to you by post or by email for checking. Your consultant is there to help you understand your drafts and accept your approval or amend the documents as necessary until you are 100% happy with them.

4

Finals

Once approved, your draft documents will be produced in their final format, bound and ready for signing and witnessing. The consultant will ordinarily supervise the witnessing to ensure that your documents are legally binding and effective when they are needed.

5

Registration and Storage

Dependant on which services you have taken, some documents will need registering with the appropriate government departments so that they are effective. You have the option to place your documents in our secure document storage facility, this ensures the right people get the right documents in the right condition at the right time! No that your affairs are in order you can sleep easier at night knowing your family is taken care of.
